I have a 2005 Voyage and the entry door rattles and drives me craaaaazy going down the road. I have had it back in the dealership twice for repairs, but as soon as I get it back on the road, the rattle is still there. Anyone else experiencing similar problems and have any solutions?

I just replaced the striker bolt and added rubber bumpers on the door from a kit I had heard about on this site. So far it is working great. Not sure if it will work on your door, but I don't know why not. The service kit is from Winnebago, part #490825. It consists of a Teflon coated striker bolt, (2) sheet metal screws, and (2) rubber bumpers along with installation instructions. Others swear by just putting electrical tape around the bolt as needed. Good luck---

My '06 Voyage came with the new nylon coated striker bolt and we have no squeeking or rattles...

My '05 Sightseer came with the old metal striker bolt and we had a HORRIBLE squeek that was somewhat fixed temporarily with a couple of layers of electrical tape wrapped around the bolt....

I have the same problem. I think it's the plastic latch that's used to hold the door open. Going down the road that thing has to bounce around some, and is bouncing against the door the noise is amplified by the door. Been meaning to put some foam rubber under it to see if that is in fact the "rattle" that I hear.

marbilupton: The service tech that did the final adjustment on my door (after the new bolt was installed) was an old hot-rodder. He slipped a dollar bill in the door gasket, closed the door, there was no tension on the bill at the bottom where my rattle was. He took off his sweat shirt held it to the top of the door, slammed the door on the sweat shirt. This adjustment worked perfectly. The bottom tighened right up no more rattles. Give it a try....

Freddy: That is ithe first fix that the dealer tried. He used velcro to attach the keeper to the door.

Look at the rivots in the door..I found one loose on my door and that was causing the rattle once I hit a certain speed and the wind was flexing the door panel
