Had a friend who got his motor home purchased back by Winnebago on the "Lemon Law" because they could not fix the heat coming from the dog house. Actually burned his foot. Don't remember what year his was but it was with the 460 Ford engine.

Does your motorhome have a Ford V10 ? And what part of the country are you located ?
Is it warm on the floor all the time ? Or just when you're driving ?
On our 98 Chieftain F53 with 460 V8 - had a lot of heat from engine cover. And as most of the previous posts did - we insulated the doghouse with Dynamat. Used 3M auto trim super adhesive to glue it on. Did 1100 mile trip and much cooler. We're happy with results.
