Dicor fiberglass RV roof coating

I am in the process of prepping my 2006 journey to receive 2 coats of subject coating. Has anyone else put this on their roof? Should I place it over my eternabond tape and my putty runs?

Jabass,
May I ask, what is the reasoning you're putting ANY coating on a fiberglass roof? Is it damaged in many or any places? Are the joints/caulking/sealant areas in need of maintenance? Is your roof chalky? Normally, fiberglass roofs do not need ANY coatings on them. A nice, thorough washing and some good quality auto wax is about normally all that's needed on a periodic basis. Our coach, is an '04 Itasca Horizon 36GD with the C-7 330HP CAT and, it's roof is in prime shape. I wouldn't even think of putting any form of coating on it. Even all my Dicor sealant/caulk seams around all the vents and plumbing is in prime shape. Course it does help that it has its own cave it resides in, along side the house.

I just looked at the Dicor site about this product. I would check it out
https://dicorproducts.com/product/fi...-roof-coating/

I am new to the fiberglass roof idea as my 07 Meridian has one. I go along with Fire Up as to why. As my Meridian is new to me, when I put it to bed for the winter I plan on waxing the roof. Fire Up what wax do you use? I use Nu Finish on the coach.

The only reason ANY company sells a roof coating for "fiberglass" roofs is because, SOMEONE will buy it. It doesn't mean it's needed. If you look at the photos of our roof, on our '04 Itasca Horizon 36GD with the CAT C-7, those were taken approximately 6-7 years ago, right after I'd spent a good couple of days buffing and waxing it.

Today, approximately 6-7 years later, it still looks at least half as good. It's time for another buffing and wax job. Again, I see no reason for any form of a coating. But, to each his own.
