I'd like get a dash cover for my MH; anyone have any ideas on where to order, and if you were happy with the quality and fit?

Has anyone purchased from Dash Board Covers by Josie?

http://www.coversbyjosie.com/index.html

Thank you,

We have a dashmat from Josie and it's great. Easy to clean and stays looking nice. We have had different colors in different rigs and I prefer the medium browns over the dark colors because it looks cleaner. We have cats

I vaccum it in place and also use the shampooer on it in place.

HI Richard,

We are thinking the same thing for our current coach. I will be interested in what others have to say. I ordered a dash cover from Josie, for a Discovery, several years back, and we were not happy with the fit. I called them back and they pretty much said "Oh well." We ended up not being able to use the piece that was supposed to fit on the instrument panel and had to do some re-cutting and double taping of the rest. We were not happy with what we got.

Good luck and I will be watching to see if anyone else has had better luck.

Happy travels.

John

I bought a dash cover for my '04 Sightseer,30B from 'The RV Toy Store. com.' It was a little pricy, but it fits like a glove and looks good.
I am starting to realize, you get what you pay for in life

Hello Whaler;

Is this the dash cover that you bought? If so, did you get the PLUSH or VELOUR?

Thank you,

Hello..this is Whaler's wife. I think we have the velour (we brought a tan cover)and it does not have much of a nap on it. As far as the cover goes, I think it is really a good quality as it has a heavy feel to it and it lays perfectly smooth on the dash and does not move, even though it has no attachments to the dash. Although I think it would look richer in a darker color, the ones available at the time would not match our RV. Hope this helps....I got to reply because I can type faster and better!!

I just visited the CA Rv Show and a vendor, bestshade.com, had a durable rubber padded dash cover, with cloth top and nice seams and sticthing, and binding around the edge, for $239. If I had pets this cover would work out because it has some weight to keep it positioned on the dash. It also hold its form and needs no velcro tabs. Like a body glove for the dash.

Best RV Awning Service, 800-328-5100.

Thanks to all for the replies... looks like a couple of them are better than what I had originally found.

For more information based on the reply from Gary CA, I called and they have two websites:

For awnings and rv accessories, http://www.bestrvinc.com/index.htm

For dash covers, http://www.suntekrv.com/

Just looking quickly at this website, it looks like a good possibiity...

Thank you Whaler; so far, there are two dash covers that I like, and yours has the best picture so you know what you're getting...
