Cracking countertop

We have an 04 Meridian 39K. We have been hearing a "snapping" or "popping" noise for the last few weeks and discovered that the countertop has 3 cracks, the longest of which is approximately 18", going from the rear left corner of the stovetop and going toward the sink (about two thirds of the way now).
Has anyone else experienced this problem?
Does anyone have a remedy/fix other than getting a whole new countertop?

Thanks in advance for your input.

2012 Denali TT had the counter top shrink in cold weather and crack around the curved outer rim. The counter top was some sort of plastic which resembled Corian or granite. it got so bad that it pulled away from the wall one inch and started to tear the wall paper. It did not do this in warm weather. Cold weather is when it started. The new stuff is china made junk. My only recourse was to buy a new counter top. out of warranty and the extended warranty excluded counter tops. I sold it instead and took the loss.

Joe,
We have a 2004 journey that had an accident that cracked the counter top. I called Winnebago with our serial number and they told me where to order a repair kit to fix the crack. I ordered it from Lichtsinns in Forest City. The kit had instructions on how to repair the crack. It was pretty simple.
Good Luck,

Resin-based countertops (like Corian) do have repair kits to fill cracks with a matching liquid resin mix which will set up. After setting up, the filler can be sanded down and polished, yielding a countertop surface with no signs of the repair. You can get the countertop manufacturer and style from Winnebago and then contact the manufacturer for a repair kit or the name of a local professional who can do the repair work. That is the only alternative I can think of.

I think your countertop material is "Vendura". My '04 Adventuer has a color called "almondine".

Where can the counter polishing kit be purchased? Or is it a Lowe's/HD thing?
