2003 Adventurer 35U - My Glass Man says that regular glass will not fit in the frame channel - it is sized for IG (Thermopane) glass only. Priced this windows online from Winnebago (WBI says IG (Thermopane is what was initially installed at manufacture) at just over $2,000 for the 2 on the drivers side and the 3 on the passenger (glass only). Anybody have any alternatives to enable use of regular glass?

Why do you need new glass? Maybe other alternatives, but depends on what is wrong.

All have leaked gas and are all fogged over - safety issue

You may want to look at having them repaired. There are companies that remove them, take them apart, clean them and put them back together. I had one done and it looks great, much cheaper than replacing. Just a thought.

I repaired multiple windows on our previous MH. If they haven't been fogged for too long they can be repaired. If they've been that way for awhile the glass may be permanently etched and will have to be replaced.

I ordered several panes from these guys. If they don't already have a pattern on file you can trace the existing pane and send it to them.

We used this company to restore our driver & passenger side double pane windows. They disassemble, wash and clean the glass, and reassemble with upgraded seals. They have camping hook-ups and dump station and the only issue is that they are very busy during the fall and spring migration of RV Snowbirds.

They also have a short shop tour where they explain exactly what is done during their process.

The basic cost in April 2011 was $200 per window. Our cost for two was $491 including 7% sales tax and $9 shop supplies.
