Our new to us Adventurer has a Magnadyne M9900-SWR3 remote that doesn't work. The radio works fine. I have replaced the battery. I have e-mailed the company asking for help, three days and have not heard from them! I just wonder if there is something I'm doing wrong or missing? I was hoping Magnadyne would have a repair facility, or maybe something I could replace it with. I like the ability to control from the steering wheel. Looking foward to your help.

Check battery to assure correct installation.

Thanks, that's the site I e-mailed. I will check out the local store Monday. I even checked the battery contacts trying to be sure of connection. I was hoping that there was a way for the remote to learn the radio, something like a universal tv remote.

Stearn needs some karma...

I had the same problem and the fix was really easy - but - and I really do apologise to the max - I can't remember what it was!!! Yikes.

I know i called my dealer and he suggested that I try something and it worked. It may have even been something in the set up.

I'll call him if you don't get an answer.

OK - I went to their site and do have the manual:http://www.magnadyne.com/MagPublic/P...900DVDS-UM.pdf
I also recall that it was the infra red on the radio that wasn't working.

i'm tryin' man.....

Check to see if the external IR sensor is connected to the radio. Had same problem. Hooking up the sensor cable fixed it.

Stern, Magnadyne has a website, and a tech phone. They are very helpful, but I think Dave and Jo have you steered right. Lift up your dash, and trace the wire and connection..rgr...
