Can not turn a/c blower off

How do I turn my Adventurer 2004 a/c blower off? When I turn the cold/heat selector to off the blower still runs?

You might pull the thermostat off the wall and disconnect the green wire. That is usually the wire to the fan relay. If disconnecting the green wire stops the fan, it's a bad thermostat. If it doesn't, it likely is a bad fan relay.

Make sure your fan is in AUTO position.

Is the fan relay accessible?

Something else I noticed when the fan switch is set to Auto I see a current draw increase of around 2 amps compared to the fan switch in the On position however both positions the fan motor is still blowing?

Switching the fan from Hi or low I do not hear or see a current draw difference?

In addition I should mention I am connected to a 20 amp line so I am not running the AC compressor (would this affect the blower Hi/low speeds)?

Any ideas?

The fan relay should be on the pc board located in the basement unit.

You might try resetting the tstat by removing the fuse behind the cover for a few minutes.

I tried removing the Thermostat fuse for a few minutes but it didn't change anything, actually even with the fuse removed I applied shore power and the blower tuned on.

Do I have to lower the entire a/c unit to access the circuit board?

I don't think so. You should be able to remove screws to raise outside panel. Then remove screw holding cover over the pc board. You should be able to then see the components.

I appears the inside fan high relay is stuck on, if I disconnect that wire from the board it turns off and my inside fan low control works as expected.

It a 6535 SERIES TWO TON HIGH EFFICIENCY AC installed on a Winnebago Adventurer 2004 33V.

Anyone know where I can order a new PC board?

Check the wire you disconnected, I assume was from tstat, for voltage. If it has 12vdc then the tstat is providing the voltage to relay.

I don't really understand this. The OP has determined the relay is stuck in the on position. He's disconnected the thermostat, fan ran. The relay is integrated in the control board, he's looking to replace the board since the relay can't be replaced individually.

Maybe I misread, but I think he said the fan turned off when he disconnected the wire. I'm just unsure if the wire he disconnected was indeed from the tstat.

The wire I disconnected was on the the control board going to the inside blower high. I am tempted to try to replace the actual relay mounted on the board. I am thinking the mechanical relay has a higher failure rate then the electronics driving that relay.
