bulb for wall sconce

I need to find a bulb for the original wall sconce behind the right section of the rest easy sofa in my 2004 winnebago journey 36 g. The sofa/recliner is located in the driver side slide out behind the driver seat. I have not been able to find a bulb that fits or works. Consequently, I am almost to the point of just getting a new sconce fixture unit. However, the proper bulb would be a whole lot cheaper. Thanks for any info.

Did try Winnebago? Did you try Google? Did you try Amazon? How about a description or picture of the bulb in question? Any writing on the bulb?

The wall sconces on my 2005 Vectra take 921 bulbs with a wedge base that push into the socket. Each sconce has two bulbs--one pointing up and one down.

FWIW _ I'd prefer to change the sconces to a style that accommodates LEDs. The ones in my '01 Suncruiser get so hot it scares me . .& I don't scare easily! I just don't use 'em!

mycoolbeans, and, nbounder,
Before I open my big mouth and suggest something, I want to make clear we're on the same page here. Does your light sconce above the sofa, in the living room/galley slide, look like the one in the picture? It's on our wall in ours. If so, I'll suggest a bulb that will work and, it is an LED and comes in various color coolness stages.

You can get an led for pretty much any bulb. I have found several at Fkying J. I get g4 type at Lowes (12v landscape & track lighting). And I have found the others I needed at rv rallies and on the internet.

Gents,
If the OP gets back on here and advises if, the "Wall" sconce IS the same as in the picture I provided, then the bulb he will be looking for is neither a G-4 base nor the BA15S base. It's a "Wedge" base bulb. The ones I have in those wall sconces and, the over hanging (same fixture only upside down over the dinette) ones are a wedge base, 18 SMD LED TOWER bulb found at:

www.superbrightleds.com they are the "Cool white" version. Since I have half a zillion lights inside that coach, I can put the cool whites in various spots for nice, bright light if and when I or the DW needs it. If we want mood, then those are off and, the "warm white" puck LEDs come into play.

mycoolbeans, The parts manual show a #1076 bulb double pin single element and you can get a LED version.
