Blind cleaning--easy, somewhat

For those looking for help figuring out how to clean their blinds, Dirt, dust just regular cleaning.

Take blinds down
Vacuum of loose dirt
Place in bathtub half full of warm water and 1 cup Oxyclean.
Let soak for 30 minutes
Take out of tub, drain tub and refill with clean water(after rinsing all the dirt out)
Let soak 30 minutes to rinse.
Hang open to dry.
Once dry, spray with starch and close up(fold). The starch holds the pleats.
Re hang and clean.

On heavily stains you will have to use a toothbrush to work the stain in the soap cycle of this.

Hope this helps some of you!!

Good to know Oxyclean is safe to use. We are due for another cleaning.

When we bought our "new to us" Journey, one of our first concerns was cleaning the shades. Everyone we spoke to said you can't, that they are made of glorified paper. Ever the skeptics, we washed ours in Woolite. And spray starched as you did. Worked fine, smells fine.

Gonna try Oxyclean.
