I have 2 switches in the bedroom. One controls the overhead lights. I haven't been able to find a function for the other. I wonder if it's just there to fill the switch plate

In our 2004 V-33, the second switch is for the light in the shower.

FINHAWK: On my coach the second switch turns on some walkway lights down by the floor. These are just an aid to walking around at night with out turning on lights.

In our MH I believe that there is only one floor light (but would have to go look to know for sure) and that is on the floor below the control panel in the hallway. It is operated by the second switch in the bedroom.

I have one under the "one place" panel near the floor and a second one up by the front stairwell.

Our 01 Adventurer is the same as Homer's Suncruiser. If the light(s) don't come on when the switch is flipped the bulb(s) may be burned out. There are 4 screws on the face of the fixture that need to be removed to change the bulb. The bulb itself looks like the old style glass tube fuse. It even clips into the socket like the glass tube fuse.

not true on my 2000 adventurer the second switch in the bed room works the night light that is in the hallway by the floor in that black holder with a mirror to reflet the light if the light is burned out just take you finger and pop out the light it is like one of the old dome lights in your car I just had to replace one of mine and did not have to unscrew any part of it, you will do yourself a favor by ording the light from one of the dealers because most auto stores do not have it I look for 3 weeks and could not find any call one of the dealers had light in just one day.

Thanks Folks. I found it. Another thing solved! That little sucker was black. The dealer in Mesa has 15 but I'm waiting to get one in Tucson so I won't have to make a 90 mile round trip for a light bulb

Went out and looked at the MH last night. And just like Homer I have two lights one at the floor under the control panel and one in the stairwell. Guess what the one in the stair well doesn't work. Am assuming it is just the bulb burnt out. Will check it out later when the weather is warmer.

This post alerted me to a small problem I didn't know I had.

An update to my previous post.

We do have 2 floor level lights like Homer however there is one significant difference in the way they're controlled. There's one under the One Place monitor in the hall and a second by the entry way stairs. The one in the hall is controlled by the switch in the bedroom. The one by the stairs is controlled by the outdoor entry light switch.

To confuse you even more, our Adventurer has another switch by our couch that controls the floor lights. So we have to have that in the proper position for the floor lights to work.
Sure took us a while to figure it out.

This is getting better all the time. I found a burned out bulb in the stairwell so the next thing to do , after I get a bulb, is to figure out what switch controls it. Ain't this fun!!!!!!!

I think the snow is interfering with my brain cells. I went back to the MH last night and like Hikerdogs said the light in the stair well is operated by the outdoor entry light switch.
I don't have anything wrong after all except for my own head. Can hardly wait to get it out of winter storage to remember how things work.

Thanks Mark, I'm finally getting this thing figured out.
