Atwood waterheater

I replaced my Atwoo/ Dometic 10 gal water heater in my 2010 Via in Jan 2018. When I went to light it last month the igniter would not light and when manually tried to light burner it would light for a few seconds then go off. I called CW and was told Dometic had trouble with the control boards this last year. Also it did not work on elect. I placed a call to Dometic. They said they changed manufacturers and they were bad. They are sending me a free replacement. When I replaced the prev one I saved the control panel and burner since my wh had frozen and burst. I could have used the old control board but coach is now winterized so cant test it. This board affected both elect and gas and replaced for FREE Model number of my wh GCH6A-10E. By the way wh has a 2 year warranty
