We have just purchased a 2016 journey, have had it a month now. We bought it in Florida and drove it home to Tennessee without any problems. We took it for our first weekend getaway this weekend to Illinois. On the trip up north I kept getting a jacks down alarm while driving. I kept pulling over to check on the jacks and they were always up. Looking thru my many pages of owners manuals I found a trouble shooting guide and it said to add ATF. It said to check with the coach builder to find out what they used. I can not find it listed anywhere. I would greatly appreciate any help you guys can offer. Thanks. Gary
ATF is hydraulic fluid, and is normally used in the leveling system.
If your fluid reservoir is low, then add ATF. In cold weather it is
not unusual for the jacks down alarm to sound when the jacks
are in fact up, when you first start out in the morning.
It has happened to me many times.
I don't know why it happens, but I no longer worry about it.
Thanks for the reply. I was thinking ATF automatic transmission fluid. Didn't make since to me but I'm no expert. That's why I follow this forum and have learned a lot from everyone here. Great bunch of folks here.

yep ATF for jacks is dex 111 automatic transmission fluid
gcamper, from page 10-15 of your owners maual. Hydraulic Fluid Recommendation
The leveling system is filled from the factory
with AW-22S synthetic hydraulic oil that has
been specially formulated for use in the leveling
system and that is compatible with Automatic
Transmission Fluid (ATF).
DO NOT USE brake fluid or hydraulic jack
oil, which can damage the seals and cause leaks

Thank you. Still trying to get familiar with all the manuals.
I have spent the day visiting auto parts and farm stores, camping world in the search for AW-22s Hyd fluid with no success. I finally called Winnebago and was told that they fill it at the factory with dextron 2 auto transmission fluid. Hope this helps someone else. Thanks for all the replys.
