I also just completed installing a 40" Samsung LCD TV and I had to rework the storage compartment openings and the cabinetry around the TV since it fits on front of the cabinets. I, too, would post pictures, but it seems like you have to be a computer genius to get the pictures on this site. I haven't given up, so I may have them posted in the next few days. Sammie, your job looks great!!!

had a major squeak in the TV cabinet -- driving us nuts -- took out the "heavy" tv and proceeded to drill and place 4 bolts into the cabinet in each side of the tv box -- used big fender washers on both sides of box and cabinet -- used wrenches to really tighten it up -- checked all factory nuts and bolts, re-installed original TV --- NO MORE NOISE !!! When I replace with new model (lighter) - I know the cabinet is now secure and solid

We are having a difficult time removing the plastic shroud underneath the front TV. Plan to pick up two lcd TVs for replacements. I have a 2005 Meridian. Any tips for removing the old TV will be appreciated.

On my 2005 Vectra, there were
screws in the 2 outer cabinets that held the shroud along with the screws from the bottom. It took us awhile to figure out why after removing the bottom screws that there were more on both sides. We actually removed all of the metal cage and put it in the recycle bin.
But in all fairness, my neighbor is a retired cabinet maker (worked for Beaver for years) and designed the new installation.

This is the finished product
