As a new member to this forum, I can't help but notice most of the posts are pertaining to class A Winnies. Is there another forum for C owners? The bank and I own a new Minnie 32G (first motorhome) and am interested to learn as much as I can about things. Thanks

Craig,
A's & C's pretty much have the same equipment, just a different layout & chassis.

Hi Fred... not to far from me, Sandusky OH. I figured as much, but just wondered if there was another spot that "fit" me better. Didn't know if there was "class warfare" of some sort.
Thanks

Lately in my travels in and around the RV Capitol, I have seen at a number of RV Manufacture's Facilities having an enormous supply of Class C Chassis. What's on their minds? Evidently, there is concern that the higher costs of the Class A's is cutting into sales. From my point of view, the prices have gone through the ceiling, along with their high price for service. So where do they focus their attention next, you got it, or if you haven't you will. The Class C market is going to be a driving force for the industry as a whole. This product is a scaled down version of it's big brother, that offers almost the amenities at much lower price. Amenities, size and price are the factories that will take RVing to the next dimension. Those manufactures that don't come onboard are going to miss out on this growing trend.

The Workhorse badged Class C van/chassis will be available in the spring and just in time to take advantage of the 05 winter/spring sales surge.

Ford's been the only player in town to date capitalizing on 95% of the market. With new class C chassis products being available the public benefits.

Right on DriVer.

What are you doing up so early? Got too much on your mind and can't sleep, like me?

Lately, to much to do and not enough time to do it. Sure would like to get south after the 1st.

I guess what attracted me to the class c was just what Tomcat said. For our first motorhome, not being sure what I was getting into, the pricing of the C's with all the options we have was attractive. There are trade-offs with the lower ccc's, but I'll just have to work around it, shouldn't be hard since we will be using it for weekenders (can't go for to long with a 4 and 8 yearold).

Thanks for the warm welcome, don't get mad if I ask an elementary question

Craig,

Feel free to ask any and all questions. The forum is about sharing ideas and experiences.

The Class C motorhome is an ideal unit for families. We had a 31' class C for several years not that long ago. I still remember some of the best trips we had in that rig. Our 2 boys at the time had a great time sleeping in "their" bunk.

Incidently, with 3 schoolage children now, we also do quite a bit of weekend camping. You're also right in the middle of several of us in Eastern Ohio and Western PA who camp together quite often in the summer. Hope you can join in for one of our campouts.

Hi Joe, we picked up our Minnie 32G the Monday before Thanksgiving and went to Hershey that weekend for its maiden voyage. I hope to be able to attend a few WIT campouts this summer. Will be nice to make new friends
I just visited my RV yesterday, it's in solitary confinement in a storage building
Can't wait for spring!

We went the other way. After 4 class A's we down sized to a class C Aspect 29H. Little less to take care of. Not so far for me to fall off the roof. Also now I can fit my MH and two cars in our 68' long garage.

Wife feels more comfortable driving the C also.
