what is your experience at maximizing the space in the 36rd basement as it is somewhat limited with no pass through?

can you fit a rolled up rug and several lawn chairs in the basement?

In mine, I have 2 folding chairs, one folding table, coleman grill, outdoor rug, and other misc. items on the passenger side slide with a pull out tray. Took me a while to put the puzzle together but it did work.

While we have the 36GD, underbelly storage is about the same. We have long items (flag pole, 7' folding step ladder, folded patio rug, two folding chairs) in the store-more compartment under the front slide.

I have two nice folding chaise lounge chairs and a folding table (along with a bunch of other smaller stuff) in the most forward compartment on the right side. I have an unmounted spare tire in the upper portion of the second compartment on the right, along with Weber Baby Q grill, small air compressor, and a three drawer storage unit loaded with 'stuff.'

If you experiment a bit, you can really load things up but real 'pass-thru' storage would be nice.

Although the 36RD doesn't have 'pass through' storage, both of the StorMore compartments in the front slides are one long compartment with multiple doors that will allow you quite a bit of storage, including the ability to handle long items.

Thanks guys for the info, it was helpful. Did any of you try to fit a bicycle under there? also do you carry a propane tank for your grill? if so where do you store it so it doesn't roll around?

Thanks again

We carry a bicycle (front wheel removed) in the left bay, and a motorcycle (really - a little Honda Z50) in the roll-out tray.
