2002 Itasca Horizon slide issues

has anyone had issues with their main slide alignment issues. slide is going out with a load noise as it reaches full extension when it drops down. and when it comes back in the front lower corner stays open about a half inch.
Where can I get help on getting this fixed? Camping world is suppose to be authorized repair dealer but they are horrible at fixing anything here in Oregon.

It sounds to me like the plastic sliders on the mechanism could be worn out, causing the loud noise. We had a similar issue, which caused the separation seen in this pic. You may want to check to see if you have a similar problem. This view is from the lower left hand corner of the slide out looking forward. On yours, you should look at the lower front of your slideout looking rearward. There should be no space between these two parts.

I dont see the same view of the slideout as I posted, but I dont see anything out of order in your pics. When the slideout is out, is the floor in the slideout even with the floor in the main part of the coach?

if you look at the adjustment bolt it is bent it has tilted the whole slide support out, it makes it so the slide will not come in all the way on the front lower corner. it acts like there is something inside this strip pushing on the plate and it bent the 1/2" adjustment bolts. when it goes out all the way it makes a real bad sound. so I don't want to open it up all the way right now and not be able to get it back in. this slide moves out for 1st 22" then it is designed to drop about 5 inches for a level floor. I have a appointment Thursday with camping world and they will look at it (Oh what fun working with camping world)

OK, I will then say that is sounds to me like the plastics sliders on the "ramp" that lets the slideout drop down are worn and need to be replaced. When the plastic sliders are worn, the slideout is lower, and drags as it goes out and drops down.

Here are a couple of videos that may give you some idea of how these slideout mechanisms work, and how to repair them.

My 02 Journey had a problem with slide solenoids the bottom of the living room slide would come out a few inches, had to replace them once in 9 yrs. Also when it was closed the front of the living room slide wasn't lining up with the moulding strip that runs above the compartments from front to rear, there is an adjustment that you can do that raises or lowers the ends of the slide.
