Sway Bars on a 2004

I have a 04 Adventurer, has anyone added sway bars to a rig like mine and if so did it improve the ride?

Sway bars won't "improve the ride", they might help the handling though.

I had the '03 WH chassis, W20. I installed torsion bars front and rear and Safety Steer, a world of difference, well worth it. Original chassis setup, Volkswagen beetles would sway my rear end.

I have Bilstien shocks and recently added Sumo Springs on our W24 which helped.
The ride and rocking are very improved; sway bars were recommended but one mod at a time. A steering stabilizer will also improve the handling.

Oh! Yes! Handling improved! Also added Safe-T-Plus steering. RV should have these standard equipment! I love both add on

If you have a Workhorse then a rear track bar will help. I added a TruCenter Steering Stabilizer at the same time. I have also had the castor set to 6 degrees which helps the coach track better. If it's a Ford chassis then there is the "cheap handling fix". It would be a good idea to get on the appropriate forum for your chassis.

Good Luck,
Dave
