Hi! We are in the process of purchasing a Winnebago model WD1710. We really like the looks and quality of the trailer. We have a 2017 Kia Sorento which we plan on towing it with. We were told that our cars towing capacity is 3500 pounds. We bought a 6 cylinder for this reason. Does anyone have an opinion about our towing capacity and any suggestions. All help is appreciated. Thanks for your help.

We just bought a WD170S. When we were looking for a camper, we knew we would need to get a towing vehicle, to, as my Subaru Forrester was not up to the task. . I very much wanted to get a Grand Caravan with a 3600lb towing cspacity. I was talked out of this by the camper dealer whose strong advice was to get a vehicle that is built on a truck platform. He had nothing to gain from the vehicle recommendation other than a customer who was happy pulling their camper. We ended up buying a used Toyota 4Runner (6 cyl) with a 5000 lb towing capacity. We just came back from our first trip and I couldn't have been happier with our choice.
