Exhaust mods to keep my toad cooler

When traveling to Freightliner Custom Chassis in Gaffney, SC, I was pulling my 2005 Liberty connected to our Forza 36G with a Blue Ox tow bar. Less than 30 miles from home, my TPMS started alarming due to a high temperature/pressure in the right front tire of the Jeep. The tire pressure had increased from 35 to 42 psi, and that tire was 20 degrees hotter than the other 3 tires. I pulled off, and let the tire cool down so that the alarm stopped sounding, and realized what the issue was.

Turns out that the exhaust on the Forza in directly in line with the right front tire of the toad. All the exhaust heat is directed back onto the right front corner of the Jeep, making the tire heat up, and getting the plastic bumper quite warm as well.

Since I have another trip coming up next week, I decided to make some changes to prevent this issue, and stop the heat from burning up my toad. I removed the OEM exhaust tip, which turns straight down at the right rear of the coach, and installed a 4" female to female adapter, using the original exhaust clamp.

Next, I installed a chrome 18" long elbow 4" OD into the adapter, and mounted it tightly with a Torctite 4" band type exhaust clamp. The elbow turns out to the right side of the coach, and should put the exhaust down the right side of the toad, and not directly in front of it. I apologize that a couple pics are sideways, but they were not that way in my computer.

Anyone else have this issue?
