Antisway on a standard hitch without WD is about the worst combination you can have.
The high hitch weight takes traction off the steering axle and anti-sway makes the tow vehicle understeer even more than normal. That's why they tell you to disconnect anti-sway in wet/slippery conditions.
Antisway equipment is necessary to counteract a WD hitch.
