I have a 2005 Sunrise and have Winnebago's Emergency Road Service for the first year at no charge. I plan on continuing with emegency road service and also sign up for a repair service plan in the nesxt couple of months. Any recommendations on who to select (i.e. stay with Winnebago, Good Sam, etc.)
Thanks

Wit is CoachNet. Even before we swapped our 39W for an HR, we had decided to drop WIT since we just were not into it (frankly, with FMCA, Good Sam, Explorer RV, etc - how many can you have?).
So I called CoachNet and simply renewed for 3 years - and at the same rate as WIT. When we got the free year from HR, we now have to let CoachNet know and they will add the 3 years less 3 months to our HR CoachNet policy.
Frankly, I've only heard one complaint about CoachNet on all forums over the past 2.5 years and even then it appeared CoachNet was right and the customer wrong.

If you have towing/road service on your insurance you may want to consider using that rather than purchasing redundant coverage.

Review you towing/road service to be sure it is adequate for your M/H. I went with AAA (RV).

I have had both AAA and Good Sam for towing and good sam for extended warranty for the past 6 yrs. Its hard to beat Good Sams extended warranty for both price and service. As far as towing...When I had to have tow once a couple of years ago approx 40 miles from my house to the repair shop the towing service was both AAA and Good Sams. He told me I was lucky to have Good Sams because with using AAA I would of had over a $350 bill because of their limited towing distance without charge. It ended up costing us nothing thru Good Sam for the tow

The tow driver told you that AAA would have charged you $350 for the 40 mile tow! Not true. AAA RV Plus will tow 100 miles.
I have towing included with my motorhome insurance. I used it once.

From what I've been told, using your vehicle insurance company for towing is counted as a claim. Bill

When we had the Minnie Winnie we had WIT Road CAre or whgat ever it was called. Had to have a couple of flats, fixed, pulled out of the mud once and two lock outs, one on the coach and one on the dinghy. Never a problem.
We currently have CW ERS and no problems when we need to use them. They cover not only the trailer, but the truck as well as the wife's car.
If you use your auto/MoHo insurance, it will count as a claim and show as such.

It falls under comprehensive, not collison. Treated the same as a broken windshield.
