i think that’s a great way to serve and camp. just a word of caution, though.

several years ago a CG volunteer host in an Illinois State park told me that Illinois was issuing 1099-Misc forms to hosts for the value of the campsite and the small daily stipend. and of course 1099’s are sent to the IRS. FYI.
