Can anyone tell me if there is a RV park in the immediate vicinity of Scottsdale for easy access to the Mayo Clinic? If not, does anyone happen to know if the Scottsdale Horsemen's Park is still in operation and accepting RV's.

This is the closest park to Mayo Clinic. http://www.eagleviewrvresort.com/index.htm
I live in Fountain Hills and this park is 10-15 min east of Mayo. Have not visited the park however so I do not have any first hand knowledge of what it is like.

Fred and Ann ...

We stayed at the horse facility in Scottsdale for a couple of days in 2006 ... the name of the place is called "Westworld" ... the spaces are all back-in with water and electric ... they have a dumping station ...

Here is their website Westworld

I hope this information is useful to you

You can also try McDowell mountian regional park just outside Fountain Hills. It is a first come first served park with water and elec with central dump station . Think the rate is $20.

GrannmaAnne, Chris, and ChickenLegs:

Thanks for your replies, good info and something to consider.

Wayne, We stayed at Westworld in 95, but I couldn't remember the name. Will know next week if we will be heading that way in the next week or two and if so, I'll be calling to see about reservations. They were really convenient to getting to the Mayo. Thanks for the info. Are you at Santee Lakes yet.
