Quartzsite2016

Any organized or unorganized Winnebago gatherings at next year's Quartzsite RV show?

How close would you be to the main RV show? Within walking distance? Are there shuttles available? These may sound silly, but I've never been to the Quartzsite show before.

I've seen maps of the BLM camping areas, but none are really detailed enough to give me an idea on the set-up.

The Plomosa Road site is 6 or 7 miles from the Big Tent. To walk to the Big Tent you would have to stay in one of the La Posa LTVAs.

Probably about 8 miles. From Main and N Central Blvd, head north towards Parker, Az and turn right onto Plomosa Rd which is 6 miles and after mile marker 114. Then go 1.4 miles and after mile marker 1 and a slight right turn, take a left turn off Plomosa Rd and across a dry wash and follow the trail off to the right. We will be flying a WIT flag.

Do you by any chance have the GPS coordinates?

Thanks LeeB

In 2011 I posted Latitude - N 33° 45' 18"Longitude - W 114° 11' 46" . That should be close enough as no area is actually reserved. We have always been in that area though.

Hopefully this picture from my tablet will help with the location of where we have met the last couple of years. Hwy 95 to Parker is on the left and the blue dot off Plomosa Rd is where we meet.
