Need better campground directory

What are people using now that Camping World ate Woodalls? We find that the new Good Sam's directory is just a warmed over Trailer Life directory, incomplete and full of ads. Too many campgrounds that were in Woodalls are not in Good Sams and listings for non Good Sams parks inaccurate and incomplete.

X-2. And I threw my old Woodalls away. Talking lady on I-phone much smarter.

Another good online resource is RV Park Reviews.
RV Park Reviews - Trusted Reviews of Campgrounds & RV Parks

Our experience with Woodalls and the Trailer Life books is that they charged campgrounds a fee to be included in their publications. There are many good campgrounds that were unwilling to pay the fees and therefore not included.

Been using the Good Sam app and web site for year it is excellent - for reviews I find Trip Advisor far superior to any so called RV rating site which are usually not up to date

online is the best and the most recent...
any 'review' book, as soon as it is printed, is out of date - it's showing what WAS, not what IS

so google maps street view etc helps to show the surrounding neighborhood with the bars on the windows

I have found campgroundreviews.com to be fairly up to date. I am a senior advisor on Tripadvisor AND if there is a negative reason that you do not stay the night, they won't let you post. The best thing to do is check more than one review site. You have to stay the night even if they had cancelled your reservations or the place was so nasty you didn't stay.

Google "campgrounds near the town you want to visit" . Instant with reviews, pics, directions, prices and more. Takes seconds and takes no space.
