Luxury in New Hampshire
We sold our home in Massachusetts in 2017 and, while it was on the market, stayed the summer in New Hampshire. My wife, simply by surfing the web, found the best RV campground we've ever experienced. We're over 50, and that's a requirement for admission into The Bluffs RV Resort in Freedom, N.H., near Mount Washington. We couldn't believe our eyes when we first drove into The Bluffs: so many of the sites are "owned" by annual renters who dress up their lots with finely manicured lawns, all sorts of lawn ornaments, and lots of colored lights. Nighttime almost looks like Christmas! And everybody, without exception, is friendly! Perhaps best of all, it's quiet, oh, so quiet. Yes, things can become lively on the weekends, but when I think of The Bluffs, I envision peace and relaxation. We're currently in the Boston/Cape Cod KOA in Middleboro, Mass., longing for the tranquility of The Bluffs.
