Hershey Park

We made our first camping trip to Hershey Park Camping Resort this past weekend and had good and "not awesome" comments about our trip.

The good: Very close to the park itself and a free shuttle goes frequently.
The sites are all level gravel (good and bad ). Shade trees although not yet in bloom (seems to be the neverending winter).
Small store with very basic supplies (TP, firewood, milk, etc) and souvenirs (no toddler sizes). Had clean bathrooms, pool and a game room that seemed to draw the kids.
Trash pickup at your site. Cable tv was pretty good and free wifi was great.
They give a military discount so be sure to ask for it.

The not so good - sites are very narrow - our fire pit was closer to our neighbors than I was comfortable with.
No grass - the dogs weren't amused.

Would we go back? Yes, absolutely - a great way to do the park over a couple days and stay local.
