Glacier park trip

We plan to travel to Glacier Park in June. Asking about need for a tow vehicle and recommendations for camp sites in the park. Plan to stay 2 weeks. Traveling in Minnie Winnie 26A. Thanks

Absolutely need a toad although you can take the shuttle buses to a lot of spots. You don't want to be dragging your motorhome up Going to the Sun Highway. Campgrounds in Glacier are better suited to tent camping so you should probably plan to stay outside the park on the East or West sides.

BTW, roads and passes may still be closed in June. Check before you go.

If you are over 21' you are not allowed on the Going to the Sun road at all. I made reservations in the St Mary's campground for the first part of August in March and most of the reservations are now full, check and make sure you have a campsite before further planning. Most of the campsites are either full or will be full by 9 am for the campsites that are first come first serve. A lot of the campsites in the first come first serve are not very large either. Good Luck.
