We are getting ready to head east and normally overnight around Marianna/Pensacola FL. Has anyone been that way since the hurricane? I'm wondering if fuel is scarce and if there are any other problems since the storm. I'll be calling campgrounds to make sure they are open. Thanks for any info.
There is fuel and the interstate is open. You will have to check on the campgrounds and might need to stay further west or east of your usual destination.

I'm kind of late to the party, but I was there (Pensacola) the week after Michael. No issues, except Ft. Pickens was closed. Stayed in a couple of Walmarts and Big Lagoon State Park.

Thanks. We are currently at a KOA east of Pensacola and have been across the panhandle and back this week. The downed trees are devastating but cleanup seems to be going really well.
We live in Pensacola--(Upper Perdido Bay). All campgrounds are operating normally in this area. Also on the other side of the Bridges over Escambia Bay, in the Milton area.
Got the "Allstays" app? If not, get it, use it, and call ahead for conditions of the proposed destinations and info on their surrounding areas. They are locals, usually very helpful and are the best source for conditions.
