Fresh water

Posted 03-29-2022 at 11:14 PM by Kinger

I have a 2015 Winnebago Itasca 27QP.
I have tried introducing a disinfecting bleach solution in to the fresh water system.
Through a hose.impossible!
Has anyone tried to modify the fresh water tank to put a bung in the top so you can fill it through the access port under the bed?

Anticipation, is making me wait!🎼

Posted 03-29-2022 at 08:57 AM by Ardeano

Sitting here at home, while my girl is down South working. Tending to the housework and
business around town… Wednesday I’ll run several miles away to conclude our purchase of our 2006 Winnie Sightseer and let the couple start their retirement in Texas. Friday or Saturday we’ll go back over and I’ll drive her home.
Excited…, oh yes. We have done this before for about 3 years out of necessity when our home burnt to the ground. Did it in a Fifth Wheel, in a few acres of Illinois woods...

Satellite roof antenna

Posted 03-06-2022 at 12:21 PM by Darlee

We have a 2003 Journey DL 36’. We forgot to lower the satellite antenna all the way and it blew off. (Imagine that)😊 I have been looking for a replacement cannot find one. Winnebago quit making them.
We need the dish and the top arm that it connects too on the roof. Just reaching out with the hope someone can help.

Preparing Minnie Winnie For 5 Month Trip

Posted 02-19-2022 at 08:11 AM by gurroz

With all of our upgrades completed during fall and winter, now it is time for maintenance. One advantage to not having slides, electric steps, or hydraulic jacks is we don't have to maintain them. In preparation for a good wax job, I started out with a thorough was at Blue Beacon Truck Wash. I will be using rubbing compound first on the front fiberglass cap then wax the whole rig. That front cap always takes a beating and oxidizes badly. On my way home from Blue Beacon, I stopped at Discount Tire...
