Help.., no power to coach

Posted 04-02-2022 at 06:06 PM by Ardeano

No power to the coach or control panel for generator, water levels etc.

Had to have the Winnebago Sightseer 34A jumped to get it started and drove home 50 some miles. Was told prior that the batteries would not hold charge, we’re old and needed changed. Ran it all the way home, kept it running in drive and put the slide outs out (3) and started the generator back on the control panel and all the lights came on through out the coach. Sometime while talking the generator kicked off...

Brought It Home

Updated 04-02-2022 at 04:54 AM by Ardeano (All the pictures I’d put up did not present.)

First I pulled forward from between two cars in a lot full of cars, backed it unto the road and pulled forward a few feet stopping to assess the buzzer going off. Thank goodness I did, it was the parking brake.
My “jack down” warning light was constantly on and buzzed intermittently as I drove along. The jacks were not down, as I did a walk around before taking off. All my compartment doors...

Black water sensors sending false positives.

Posted 03-30-2022 at 04:20 PM by HiBanky

My 2005 Journey has external proximity sensors on the black water holding tank for detecting the waste water level. These are the black square stick on type with the white + sigh in the center. Like most other types of sensors they are susceptible to sending false positive signals when guck builds up on the inside of the tank. When chemicals, ice, and enzymes don’t do the job, I have the final solution to the problem.

Get a 3-4 ft long garden watering wand with an articulating head...

Awake I think.
Coffee in the cup is half gone and tepid needing to be drank and refilled. Dogs are plopped upon the couches and floor and God only knows where the cat is.
My lady is in the shower preparing for her three hour drive back down South this morning where a continuing State Annual Survey awaits her.
Me…, headed West this morning with funds in hand to tend to Motorhome purchase etc. so the elderly couple can head down to Texas with their children for retirement. ...
